Vypalujeme - část třetí: komerční programy pokračování | Kapitola 2

V první části jsme si představili několik vypalovacích programů z kategorie volně šiřitelného software. Počínaje rozhraním Windows XP a konče programem DeepBurner Free. V druhé části jsem se podívali na některé komerční produkty jako jsou DeepBurner Pro, Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD, Roxio Easy Media Creator a Sonic RecordNow! Dnes budeme pokračovat programy Sonic MyDVD a také se podíváme na multimediální balík od Nera.
V předchozích dvou článcích a také v dnešním jsme si představili nejrozšířenější aplikace, jak z oblasti volně šiřitelného tak z oblasti komerčního software. Říká se to nejlepší nakonec, proto se v následujících odstavcích podíváme na program Nero.
Od doby co se Nero začalo bundlovat k vypalovacím mechanikám, se stalo nejrozšířenějším softwarem v této oblasti. Přitom jeho kvalita šla výrazně nahoru, navíc k tomu přispívají časté aktualizace, které řeší chyby a přidávají podporu pro nové vypalovačky, nová média a mnoho dalšího.
Na českém trhu můžete narazit na dvě verze Nera, OEM Nero 6 a OEM Nero Suite 6. OEM Nero 6 obsahuje pouze balík Nero Express 6 s utilitami, v OEM Neru Suite 6 naleznete také Nero Express 6 s utilitami, navíc získáte balík Nero VisionExpress 2.

V případě, že si budete pořizovat novou vypalovačku, je nejvýhodnější pořídit si takovou, která má Nero přibaleno. Nejčastěji bývá přibalen balík Nero Suite 6.
Pokud si budete přát Nero Burning Rom a ne Nero Express, budete si muset tuto verzi zaplatit prostřednictvím internetu nebo se obrátit na firmu zabývající se distribucí software a s její pomocí provést platbu a registraci. Cena uvedená na stránkách Nera je 49,99 (1 500Kč) za sériové číslo.
V následující kapitolkách se podíváme, jaké vlastnosti Nero obsahuje a podporuje. Jazyk následujících odstavců je angličtina a doufám, že mi odpustíte, že nebudu vlastnosti Nera překládat, je jich opravdu veliký balík :-).

Support for ISO9660:1999
- ISO9660:1999 is a file system designed by ISO (International Standards Organization) with the aim of creating a file system that is
system independent and therefore compatible with every system - CD´´´´s with ISO9660 file system can be read on all operating systems
- ISO9660:1999 is the most recent version of this file system
- ISO Level 1 supports filenames in 8.3 format (8 characters for the filename and 3 for the extension)
- ISO Level 2 allows 31 characters and can be read by WIndows 95 and later versions. However DOS and Windows 3.1 have trouble with long file names
Verification after recording for more compilation types:
- Verification is now available for Audio CD, Video CD and Super Video CD
- This was not available on previous versions of Nero Burning ROM / Nero Express
Support for short lead−out recording:
- Using settings in Expert Features the lead−out time can be reduced to approximately 10 seconds or less
- This is an improvement from the previous lead−out time of up to 90 seconds on previous versions of Nero
- This option also enables your recorder to write approximately 12MB of additional data to your CD/DVD in Disc−at−once
- The only theoretical problem this feature may cause, is a possible incompatibility with some Audio−CD Players. (No such problems have been observed so far.)
Intelligent compilation size status bar
- Status bar can now recognize media size as soon as media is inserted
Manual Setting for DVD Media
- On the right side of the status bar there is a Drop Down menu for selecting the DVD Media type (consistent in Recode / Nero Burning ROM / Nero Express)
